Why should I care?

A better question would be, "How could I NOT care?" The electric car is an efficient, clean, and reliable form of transportation which should be taken seriously. Traditional fossil fuel cars are causing more problems today than ever before, from global warming to pollution to oil conflicts in the Middle East. It is everyone's responsibility to make the world the better place, and electric cars are an excellent first step.

What exactly is the Tour De Sol?

The Tour de Sol is an annual event dedicated to the sharing and competition of various alternative cars from around the world. It fosters communication between developers and maintainers of all sorts of innovative vehicles, and is a great place to learn something new. Most importantly, it's a lot of fun!
